Remote secure access from Anywhere

PcHelpWare is a remote support tool that allow you to control any pc connected to the internet. No router modification are needed to access a remote PC behind a NAT. Using the included "repeater" you can even connect nat2nat without the need to make any router changes on both sites. PcHelpWare is a free alternative for logmein, gotomypc and pcanywhere remote access support.

Is PcHelpWare the same as UltraVnc SC "Single click" ?

Version(I) of PcHelpware has been made compatible with the helpdesk.txt (custom.zip) used in UltraVnc SC mode I&II. Internal, all have been changed to be able to easy support encryption, unicode and intel performance libraries. PcHelpWare capture and display core was reused from a commercial real time remote screen application, it's not longer compatible with vnc.
PcHelpWare require his own server and viewer.

The Viewer, used to give support, require
  • DirectX9.Oc
  • W2K, XP and Vista
  • Every PC that's capable of running the OS is suitable to be used as viewer PC.

Requirements network no repeater

When using no repeater, the server, can be direct connected or behind a nat router. Because the server make the connection to the viewer, your viewer need to be reachable from external. You need to have a direct connection or forward the needed ports on the router.


Requirements network with repeater


With repeater, both server and viewer can be behind a nat router.


Firewall

The server use 1 outgoing port (default:5500)
The viewer use 1 outgoing (default:5901) and 1 incoming port (same as the server outgoing default:5500)
